I have been busy this summer working on my most ambitious and challenging collaboration yet: my son. Some recent highlight scenes are: jumping naked on the bed at bedtime and then escaping into the back yard when I attempt to enforce a cease-and-desist order, gutting out oral surgery and asking for a piece of gum to chew with stitches in his mouth, insisting I look into purchasing another child at a store (not a baby, but a seven-year-old girl with blond cornrows and a quiet demeanor--I am not making this up), and designing a new air-flow system for the house in which the warm air from the dryer and the stove are re-directed to vents over his desk.
He might be the funniest person I have ever met.
